Thank you for booking onto Yoga with Jessica Adams. Please read the essential information below and complete the registration form before your first session. I very much look forward to meeting you.

What to wear Comfy clothing that you can easily move in. You may like to wear a top you can tuck into your bottoms or that is close fitting so you are relaxed in poses such as downward dog where your hips are higher than your head.

What to bring Please bring a mat if you have one – if you need to borrow a mat, please let me know in advance of your first session. You may also like to bring a bottle of water, warm jumper and socks, and a light shawl or blanket for the relaxation at the end of the class.

Eating before class It is fine to eat a snack or light meal before class if you are hungry. It’s usually recommended that you don’t eat a meal 2hrs before yoga. However, it’s best to listen to what you need and eat/drink accordingly.

Questions These are always welcome in class, whether you are new to yoga or not! There are no silly questions and questions from individual students lead to learning from everyone.

Adjustments Sometimes I will offer adjustments in poses. However, I will ask permission first and it is your choice whether you would like them or not. Adjustments are never because you are doing something wrong. Rather, they are offered to help you find a different feeling in the pose with the aim of enabling you to feel more connected, at ease and alive in your body.
