Jessica offers weekly general classes in North Somerset. Sessions run termly and are mixed ability, accessible to all ages and stages of life. They are open to both men and women, and welcome women in pregnancy, postnatal and all stages of menopause – Jessica has over 10 years’ teaching experience, with a specialism in women’s health.
These gentle, flowing Scaravelli-inspired yoga classes will help you gradually build whole body strength and flexibility so that you move well and feel better in your daily life. With clear instruction and simple, playful sequences of postures that are easy to follow, sessions allow space for questions and modifications where needed. Jessica’s approach focuses on mindful, meditative movement that cultivates body and breath awareness, empowers you to work at your own pace according to individual needs, and helps you return to your natural state of relaxation. Straightforward breathing, meditation and relaxation practices are integral to each session. The main aim is for you to discover and enjoy a yoga practice that feels good and is supportive for you.

Join Jessica Adams and Kate Fox for a 2hr Scaravelli-inspired yoga workshop in the beautiful setting of Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bristol, BS4.
With the benefit of two experienced teachers for instruction and gentle hands-on guidance where appropriate, Kate Fox and Jessica Adams create a supportive space in which to enjoy yoga at your own pace.
Discover how to practice yoga in a way that gently guides you towards subtle connections within your body, so that you are able to develop self-awareness and intelligently adjust your own body and postural habits. Working with attention and mindful focus, you will be invited to explore postures and movements from the inside – rather than imposing an external idea of what yoga should look like from the outside. This is an empowering way of practicing that puts you at the centre of your own learning and experience.
Inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, Jess and Kate will help you find your body's unique alignment, resting into gravity, releasing breath and tension, and unravelling postural habits. This will enable you to build strength and resilience, while allowing the body to return to and remain in its natural state of rest and relaxation. This leads us to a more sensitive way of being in our bodies and is an approach that complements and enhances all styles of yoga.
